Corticosteroids injected into the tissues of the body can last a.month or more in your system and reduce your immunity ability during that time. Be vigilant about any infections you may develop or anyone with measles,chickenpox,or shingles you may have been exposed to during that period of time and report them to your physician promptly for advice.
