Some people develop hpv symptoms within 3 months, but it takes about a year for some people to develop symptoms.why do symptoms occur at different times?

90% of people never develop symptoms. The only symptom of HPV is warts, due mostly to two different HPV types. Even in those, many do not develop warts. When warts happen, the timing is random: there are no know reasons for earlier versus later appearnace of warts.
