I have had a painful bump on the side of my lower lip it looks like it has pus but every time i try to pop it, it doesn't budge and it hurts even more. what can i do?

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. If the bump is on the inside, it could be a mucocele, if it is on the outside, it could be an epithelial cyst. It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!
