Is it okay if 21 year old adult buy dt vaccine instead of td vaccine by mistake for tetanus? is it harmful if took dt vaccine as it is for children?

The children's formulation differs only in the quantity of diphtheria antigen (immunity triggering stuff) in the formulation. If they tolerated the extra amount without significant side effects this is okay. Researchers found they could reduce the antigen amount & still prevent diphtheria and reduce the side vaccines effects in adults.
