Most harmless: Moles and other skin imperfections that are more noticeable as we age are most often innocent in their origin and behavior. Some can point to internal body issues, most do not.Some may be more worrisome based on their appearance or changes over time. A regular skin exam by your doc during an annual physical can sort out any that need testing.Direct evaluation is the best way to know.
