A member asked:

Are there any foods you should avoid if you have psoriasis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

According to recent studies, it seems better to avoid foods high in saturated fats and simple sugars to lessen the chance of inflammation. Instead adopt a Mediterranean diet with healthy fats and omega3 fatty acids , including foods like olive oil, avocados , nuts , salmon ,fresh vegetables and fruits with a low glycemic index . Also steam, poach and stew foods instead of frying and grilling.
