I had a breast us last month to check a lipoma, it did not show, and i was told it was gone. this week i just noticed a lump in that same spot, my period is in 10 days. would it be safe to wait until after my period to see if the lump goes away?

Yes. It would be safe. Waiting for ten days will not do harm. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
