A member asked:

Hey. is it normal for both of my occipital lymph nodes to be immovable? mine are both pea sized and have not changed in 2 months. is this a bad sign of anything?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pea sized lymph nodes in the occipital area could mean a number of things but you already know it has to do with the scalp mainly. If any injury happened to your scalp even hair cut could affect the lymph node sometimes because of small nicks and cuts. That they are not movable may just be due to tight muscles. If you are engaged in high risk activities that may have caused exposure, see a doctor.
