Last may, i suffered a gsw to the abdomen and received the whipple procedure in a last resort situation. six months later i found i was pregnant. i'm currently 26 weeks and in immense pain and my ob says there isn't anything to help.. any advice?

You should ask your abdominal surgeon what he/she thinks is the cause of your abdominal distress. I suspect adhesive bands would be high on the list. Since gun shot wounds of the abdomen can damage many areas of your intestine There could be formation of sterile abscesses, organized hematoma as well. I assume an MRI of your abdomen could be performed since there is no X-Ray involved.
