A member asked:

14 days delayed period. had protected sex 3 weeks before. having tender breast, cramps and headache. negative pt taken on the 6th day of late period. am i pregnant?

The most reliable way to find out if you are pregnant (despite "protected sex") is by asking for a blood betaHCG pregnancy test. Your "negative urine pt" may not be accurate for a variety of reasons. Your symptoms of "tender breasts, cramps and headache" may be due to an early pregnancy; on the other hand, they may be caused by hormonal changes other than those of pregnancy .
