Bactrim has weak efect against chlamydia -- you should not rely on it for cure. However, the combination of bactrim plus azithromycin (1 gram, single dose) for sure will be effective. (Is your chlamydial infecion proved? It would be very unlikely to have a positive test result while taking bactrim.)
