A member asked:

Would a white matter hyperintese lesion on t2 on right mid cerebellum cause nystagmus?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

True nystagmus is NOT caused by an isolated cerebellar lesion! Cerebellar eye abnormalities are very different, and indeed characteristic of imbalance (ataxia). Best to be assessed directly or via virtual online consult.
