Mid abdominal pain feels like belt tight around hard, since yesterday. what could it be ?

Abdominal pain can be due to many causes. The common ones are: Appendicitis , indigestion, Gastritis or bowel obstruction. We can narrow the cause down by knowing if you have nausea, vomiting, increased bowel activity(constipation or diarrhea) or fever. If the symptoms worsen over the next 24 hours, you should have a medical check up by your PCP or in the emergency room.

At this time your symptom is nondiagnostic but if abdominal discomfort persists or worsens or if there's associated abdominal tenderness, you should be evaluated preferably in the emergency room where prompt evaluation & testing are available. Some possibilities include appendicitis, inflammation of the gall bladder,pancreatitis, peptic ulceration,gastritis,umbilical hernia.
