There are others: There are many good nasal steroids to include brand names like flonase, nasacort, veramyst, omnaris, zetonna, Qnasl and generics like fluticasone, budesonide, triamcinolone, beclomethasone, and flunisolide. So, talk to your doctor about an alternative rx.

Other options: Nasal steroids are helpful for allergic rhinitis. Other options besides Nasonex (mometasone) includes rhinocort, flonase, nasacort, veramyst. If you check with your pharmacy they can tell you which of the other nasal steroids are covered under your insurance plan.
