Regular periods- 33 days. but last with brown spotting when period was to come for 2 days only. pregtest 5 days after (-ve) wonder if i tested early. gynae found a cyst, how likely i still be preg? if yes dont want to take bcp as will harm baby?

Home tests may not be accurate very early in pregnancy, so if your period has not started in the next 7-10 days, obtain a serum HCG test which is very accurate. Oral bcp's are not thought to be harmful to a pregnancy, as the hormones in the oral bcp's are very similar to those in a normal pregnancy.
