4-7-8 breath: Yes, breathing exercises can help relieve stress by balancing sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. You can sit on a chair for this, or on the floor if you like. See Below!: Breathing exercises to relieve stress are good to do at anytime, especially when feeling stressed. They are effective because they 1st provide a distraction. Oxygen is also life and needed for every chemical reaction that takes place in the body, it provides additional energy for the heart, brain and blood vessels. Breathe in, hold 10 secs, then breathe out through pursed lips. Wow! i feel better!
