I also recommend to consider skipping the morning dose of the aspirin (or any blood thinner) before the vaccination or the evening dose the day before vaccination in the case of a drug taken once daily in the evening. This is from a well-respected hematologist in my community. No, the aspirin won’ reduce effectiveness.

The sole problem with a vaccine "taking" (eliciting an antibody response), would be immune suppression due to a clinical disease or a specific medication. ASA does NOT suppress the immune system, as it predominantly is used as an antiplatelet drug or for fever, or aches and pains. Holding for 24 hrs might mitigate the local bruising from the injection site. Get your vaccine.
