Can i stop taking accutane after 4 months of use. i started on 20mg twice a day for 2 months then once a day for another 2 months. i cannot afford this medication anymore and worried my acne comes back?

Depending on the severity of your Acne, Accutane can take up to 1 year for the full treatment. You can stop after 4 months, but the acne may return. Talk to your Dr about discounts or coupons available from the pharmaceutical company to help with payment.
