I was prescribed a 6 day medrol pack. after taking the first 2 pills and reading some peoples experiences i decided to stop before i got too far. am i safe or should i worry about anything since i took the 2 initial 4mg pills?

You should be fine. While ideally a person taking methylprednisolone would complete a complete course, taking only two pills is not typically a problem. More problematic is the pt who take multiple courses of the steroid and needs to be weaned off slowly. Since the medication was prescribed for a specific therapeutic reason, check with your Dr for an alternative treatment.
