Are you able to order blood work with a virtual primary care visit?

This is the HT public information site where volunteer docs answer questions about health conditions. It does not offer virtual consults/order lab work /provide notes or scripts or do other forms of direct patient care. If you request a consult on HealthTap, blood work can be ordered, if the doctor agrees that it is needed. If you request a primary care consult, you can pick your virtual doctor and follow-up with the same doctor virtually. This is good for discussing your lab results and creating a plan of care. However, these consults are not free-you can find out how much they cost on the website. Good luck!!
