There is some fairly good research that SSRI'S can cause a rare vascular condition in newborns called pulmonary hypertension. If that happens to a newborn it can be anything from mild to life-threatening. Most docs concur that if there is anyway a pregnant lady in third trimester can be off these meds, they should be off. If they are keeping woman stable from harming herself ,may need to stay on

The risk to your baby is relative. The risk to yourself and your pregnancy may be much greater. This is something to discuss with your OB and your psychiatrist. The harm to the newborn of a depressed mother is substantial. Zoloft may be a safer drug: https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/pregnancy-week-by-week/in-depth/antidepressants/art-20046420 Also look at https://mothertobaby.org
