A member asked:

Tsh w/reflex to ft4. result was .26. is this normal? if not, is this under or over active? thank you?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

In general, the range for TSH levels varies by laboratory, but in general the optimum range is between 0.3 to 4. Based on the TSH level alone, it would suggest your thyroid is overactive, however one would need to also understand the additional thyroid hormones like free T4 and total T3 for context.
