Cord prolapse causing fetal distress and requiring emergency c section is a very scary and serious condition. Though each pregnancy may be different, your obstetrician or family doctor would definitely want to factor this in, particularly during the third trimester of pregnancy. Since you have had a c section already, it is possible that you will be recommended to have a repeat c section.
