This sounds like it could be from a tight-fitting bra, or from leaning on something while sleeping. If you have no bruising anywhere else and these are not very painful, I would recommend observation. If you are getting bruising elsewhere, if these spots are getting bigger or are not going away or going away within a week or so, please go to your doctor for an examination.
