A member asked:

Hi! can acid reflux occur in/under the right breast? when i was a baby, i had severe acid reflux and its slowly started to return. occasionally my chest feels tight after i eat, especially large amounts. i was just wondering?

Yes: Acid reflux most commonly causes a burning sensation on the very top part of the stomach or in the middle under your breastbone. But can also cause pain on the right or left side of your chest, just a little less commonly. If it persists for more than a week or 2, see your doctor to make sure its “just” acid reflux and to learn about treatment options
