Unilateral hearing i: There are.many causes of unilateral hearing impairment besides acoustic neuroma including wax, trauma genetics, viral or bacterial infection or even old head trauma. If you can't get a definite diagnosis from your ENT, consult a neurootologist at a department of otolayngology at a university hospital near you.
