I recently got up from laying in bed, and my heart started rapidly beating. very fast, and felt it in my neck and stomach. it felt like the pulse was going to jump out of my neck. then subsided after a minute. this is the second time this has occured?

? POTS?: This sort of phenomena might be an expression of POTS, and if so, this will require evaluation for causes and a decision regarding therapeutic intervention. Inform your doctor, and get pulse and blood pressure evaluated supine and erect.
