Pregnant ?'s: Bright red bleeding after a delay in expected "period" may indicate pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic). Obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy, as it is more accurate than a home test. If the HCG is positive, see your OB physician for an exam and possible pelvic ultrasound, as ectopic pregnancy needs immediate attention.
