Fna on 2.7cm nodule came back as undetermined. cells exhibit enlarged nuclei and occasional cells have hurthle cell- like change. should i worry about the hurthle cells?

Follow up: This may be one indication of thyroid cancer, and a follow up appointment is indicated. More information is needed and please consult with a specialist for further evaluation. Since the pathologist read the specimen as undetermined, other areas of concern may include your thyroid gland. A biopsy may be discussed during your follow up visit to ensure that there is no further complication.
