None: an epiploic appendicitis is an inflammation of a fatty piece of tissue that forms over the colon. The inflammation is usually self limited and it resolves on its own Since it hangs off the colon and is not contiguous with the lumen of the colon there is no relation to food intake at all and therefore no dietary restrictions. It is in no way related to an acute appendicitis
