No treatment needed: Mycoplasma hominis is normal in the genital tract. At any time, half of all people test positive. On rare occasions it contributes to uterus infections (endometritis) after childbirth, but that's about all. It is normally shared by sex partners, who naturally share almost all the hundreds of bacteria in their genitals. M. hominis is just one of them. Don't confuse with M. genitalium, more serious.
