UTI: Could be a UTI, and depending on how long you have had the infection, it may have traveled to your kidney. Talk to your GP and seek an exam and urine analysis. Prescribed antibiotics can be used to cure the infection.

UTI: The concern here is that you may have a kidney infection in view of right sided pain & history of a kidney cyst. It is important to have a urine culture,sensitivity & colony count as the offending bacteria may not be simple E Coli but more serious & virulent bacteria often seen in males with structural urinary tract pathology. Get started on a potent antibiotic while waiting for culture results.
