Menstrual change: Missing 3 cycles in a row for unknown reasons, warrants evaluation by your physician/ gynecologist. Once the cause is ascertained, it may not feel so scarey to you. In the meantime, if you have been sexually active, would take a home pregnancy test even though you have had a tubal ligation.

Hormonal imbalance: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
