If i started antibiotics yesterday for my tonsillitis so how long till the pain goes away, or at least gets better?

Hard to say: If it was really strep, which is one of the only reason for antibiotics, improvement is expected by day 3. If it is really mono or some other agent it could take longer. Some folks have both at the same time.
