Ringworm treatment: Ringworm (fungal infection of the skin) can be treated with topical and oral medications. In hairy areas, oral medications work better as fungus can descend into the hair follicles and topical medications will not reach it. Please see your dermatologist. It is possible to get rid of a fungal infection of the skin completely. Also there are other skin conditions that look like ringworm.
