AF is infectious: Should be able to self-diagnose athlete's foot. Symptoms usually scaly, moist, skin rask with cracks, located between toes. Fungus is very infectios and can be passed on by walking barefoot in any area where others, family, gym or sports club members have done same. Do not share towels or bath mats. Excellent over the counter remedies available at all pharmacies. Dermatologist only if remedy fails
