A member asked:

Have a tendency to tighten my throat muscles, is there anything i can do to work on this besides muscle relaxers?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can examine: One who makes repeated noises, rolls his eyes, twitches his face, or tightens or jerks his neck muscles may have tics, which are exaggerated habits. Of course, he might have allergies or throat irritation that "encourage" tics to continue because irritation makes him sense there is neck or throat discomfort. "Reminders" worsen tics. One's primary care doctor can evaluate to diagnose and help.
