No: We inherit the size of our teeth and the size of our jaws from our parents, sometimes there jaw is too small to accommodate all the teeth as they develop. The primary stimulus to the growth center of our jaws is the sucking action when feeding at the breast. Early weening (before nine months) has been associated with insufficient space for the wisdom teeth. Some have room and some do not!

STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW: Not all wisdom teeth have to be extracted. If there is pain upon erupting and x-rays show the tooth or teeth are erupting at an angle or crooked than they should be extracted .If the the teeth are already erupted and are pressing against the tooth in front than they should be extracted but if they come in straight than and line up with the other teeth than leave them. NO: Some people have asymptomatic properly placed wisdom teeth. Others have inherited tooth-size and bone-size that do not match. Cannot tell without an examination and x-rays, but your Dentist has done both ands/her professional opinion is that "all systems area go." I'm sure if there are any problems that referral to an Oral Surgeon would be prudent, but trust your Dentist's well informed opinion.
