A member asked:

How long does it take for a severe allergic reaction to medication take, specifically anaphylaxis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Basics: For injected meds we would expect such a reaction within 15-30 minutes while oral medications could start as soon as any absorption occurred, usually within an hour or two. In some cases there might be a delay, but that would be the exception.
