What is the cause and treatment for swollen vulva with sores?

STD: Any sores on the vulvar or genital area are assumed to be from sexually transmitted infections. You will need to be seen by a GP and have the sores cultured for proper treatment. STD's that cause these symptoms include Syphilis and Genital Herpes. Both can be treated simply with prescription oral or injected medication. Talk to your GP for further action.
