Bleeding after sex: This probably isn't a BCP problem. Any new or unexplained vaginal bleeding, no matter how mild, should be professionally evaluated. Spotting after sex often indicates inflammation of the cervix, which has several causes -- including gonorrhea or chlamydia (if at risk for STD); or other kinds of cervicitis; or dysplasia due to HPV.
