Hi, i have a clear,hard bump by the tip of my thumb that doesnt seem to go away, should i be concerned? what can i do to clear it up?

Is bump new? : If the clear hard bump is new you may want to see your primary doctor to check it. If it's due to trauma, it may be temporary. Is it painful? If yes, it may be an infection. It's best to see a doctor to look at that thumb. Do not try to drain the bump with a needle as this may lead to infection of the finger.
