Which medication to take to treat diarrhea during pregnancy?

Before meds: Most diarrhea episodes are self limited and resolve with proper hydration and dietary scrutiny. In case it becomes persistent, a diagnosis and work up will be needed before treating. Your Ob-gyn and/or GP should be aware of your symptoms otherwise as any random intervention ( meds specifically) may result in unnecessary risk to you and your fetus.
