Chlamydia pharyngiti: Yes, you can get chlamydia infections of the throat from giving oral sex. You may or may not have symptoms so if you feel you're at risk, you'd have to direct the MD to order the throat swab which detects the infection. Chlamydia infections commonly occur in the male urethra or female cervix but are not rare in the throat and silent ones may be more common than we think.
