A member asked:

Hi doctors..i heard that when i get endocrine bloodwork, the most critical measure is tsh and that there is one other? is it t4 or free t4 or t3? my tsh is 0.47..is that ""bad"" or ""good"" or how is it interpreted? oh and my t3 is 73?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your results are in the normal range. Wish you good health!
