Fever in babies: A temp of 39 is high, but seen commonly in infants and toddlers with Viral infections. See a Dr for difficulty breathing, lethargy, or acute abdominal pain. Otherwise, use fever reducers including infant acetaminophen, infant ibuprofen and cool baths to lower the temperature and make baby more comfortable.
