Yes: It may also be coming from arthritis. I recommend seeing your doctor for x-rays, and maybe mri.

Osteoarthritis: Osteoporosis is a loss of calcium in the bone. Osteoarthritis is a degenaration of the bone. This is what causes the pain.You need an xray of your cervical spine.
