Yes : Ginger has some "blood thinning" effects, but very unlikely to be clinically significant (lead to bleeding) when consumed as part of a normal diet. The high potency supplements may be associated with a bleeding risk, but not statistically proven. For patient's on Lovenox (enoxaparin) & heparin, ginger may be consumed as part of a normal diet. Anticoagulation: Enoxaparin and ginger can increase anticoagulation. If you were taking significant amounts of ginger extract - that might be an issue but it is likely to be fine in dietary quantities.
