A member asked:

I have just been tested for covid and am awaiting my results. i am not one to sweat but i have been sweating an intense amount recently but the temperature scanner doesnt show a fever. could this be one of the symptoms of covid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: COVID-19 pandemic at this time, so one may call her doctor to first consult by video instead of doing an in-person visit. Chills or sweats can happen when one's temperature is rising and falling (even if no fever at the time of scanning) such as from a cold, the flu, or another cause like COVID-19. Usually, one calls the doctor if symptoms are moderate, serious, or with other medical conditions.
