A member asked:

Since stopping ssris, i find that i have less inclination to chew my food. is there any danger is hardly chewing your food?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: You're a good observer of your own body, and if you are able to swallow what you eat, you have probably chewed it sufficiently. This is not worth troubling yourself over. Congratulations on what sounds like progress in your life. Focus on others, on learning new skills, looking outward rather than inward, and hope for a rich life and its satisfactions rather than constant worry. Best wishes.
